Omar Khaled Farid Asad's entrepreneurial journey began in the world of porcelain, trading and exporting fine ceramic tableware internationally. It was through these trade connections that he discovered his true calling — the global coffee industry.
Pivoting boldly, Omar began sourcing premium green coffee beans directly from farms across Africa, South America, and Asia, importing them to Türkiye and building a reputation among wholesale roasters for consistent quality and competitive pricing.
Today, ASAD Gıda Sanayi operates from a 1,600 m² integrated headquarters and factory in Istanbul, housing all operations under one roof. The facility is equipped with a 120 KG, 30 KG, and 10 KG roaster, producing up to 3.3 tonnes of roasted coffee per day — roughly 85 tonnes per month and over 1,000 tonnes annually.
